Pacific Swiss specializes in high-precision CNC Swiss turning of complex micro and miniature components. Multi-axis equipment, automated bar loading, lights-out production, and robust quality systems make Pacific Swiss well suited for applications requiring tight tolerances, intricate features, and production repeatability.

Capabilities

Pacific Swiss specializes in multi-axis CNC Swiss turning and micro/miniature machining for small, intricate components. Parts are typically machined from .010" to 1.25" in diameter, with specialized micro-machining capabilities extending down to .005" diameter. 


CNC Swiss equipment provides up to 10 axes of machining, with multiple tools cutting simultaneously to efficiently produce complex features and geometries. 

Complex components can be turned, milled, drilled, bored, and deburred in a single setup, reducing secondary operations while improving accuracy and repeatability.


Capabilities include programmable B-axis machining for angular features, high-pressure coolant, and LFV technology for improved chip control. Pacific Swiss routinely produces demanding components with ±.0005" tolerances and a wide range of surface finishes, with an emphasis on intricate, virtually burr-free parts.


Automated bar loading and lights-out machining support efficient, repeatable production and predictable lead times. Pacific Swiss also provides engineering and DFM support to evaluate part manufacturability, improve machining efficiency, and identify opportunities to reduce cost. 


Quality capabilities include temperature-controlled inspection labs, non-contact inspection, optical comparators, profilometry, SPC data, AS9102 first article inspection, PPAP reporting, and computerized lot control for part traceability.


A proprietary six-stage cleaning process with FOD detection and removal further supports applications with stringent cleanliness requirements, including aerospace, defense, medical, and other demanding industries.
