Valmark
has recently added an HP Indigo press and custom Preco laser. The
new digital press features an on-demand functionality which allows
you to run prototype quantities for labels and overlays with
true production print quality. Because the digital format doesn't
require films or screens, you experience cost savings with the
added benefit of total design flexibility.
The new custom Preco laser offers tight
tolerance cutting and kiss-cutting, as well as laser-marked bar codes.
Either low cost or no tooling means no tooling lead times and overall
cost savings.

HP
Press Specs: · Print on demand allows for maximum design flexibility in the shortest production time
· Proper A/W and graphic files can yield a PRODUCTION GRADE prototype same day
· Increased quality of resolution for fine pitched images or fonts without the problem of
bleeds, trapping, and/or pin-hole flaws
· 6-color process allows for the most complex images and photo quality overlays
· Increased accuracy of images, print-to-print &
sheet-to-sheet accuracy within +/-0.003"
· Lower costs - No Films or Screens
· Overall print capabilities - The printed image is only limited to your imagination
· Quick Color Match - Color match used to take hours, with the digital printer we can
match color in less than an hour
· Low volumes have lower costs because we have no screen preparation and no extra
material required for setup
· Currently art approvals are supplied as a drawing - With the digital printed, the art
approval will be a first-off, production quality overlay
· Because we will inventory very little digitally printed graphics, customers can change
their graphics
Preco Custom Laser Specs: · Very tight tolerance cutting and kiss-cutting
· Laser can actually laser-mark bar codes right on the tails or pull-tabs
· Can cut parts with fine details or closely spaced features that CANNOT be cut in any
other SRD manner
· Faster response to rapid protos and/or production spikes or changes
· Either low cost or no tooling required for new part numbers
· No tooling maintenance required
· No tooling lead time issues
