What began as a small, family-owned company has grown into one of the leading investment casting providers in the world. In its almost 50 years of business, Signicast has seen a lot of changes. Chief among them is an ever-increasing ability to help our customers operate fast, more efficiently, and more profitably.

How We Do It

Our state-of-the-art investment casting manufacturing complex in Hartford, Wisconsin is the showcase for
Continuous Flow
Manufacturing. The entire complex – from top to bottom, one end to the other – is designed to facilitate the efficient, unbroken flow of castings.

In addition, Signicast is also committed to “Complete to Print” manufacturing capabilities. In other words, in addition to providing world class investment casting services, we also perform additional high quality operations, including machining, heat treatment, assembly, painting, finishing, and packaging, all in-house.

This means that an investment casting that typically takes others 12 weeks or longer to do, Signicast does in 5-10 days.

Six Plants, Two
Locations

Signicast operates not one, but five high-quality investment casting plants at two locations in Southeast Wisconsin. At the Hartford complex, each module operates as a plant unto itself, with its own engineering, production, purchasing, and maintenance staff. Heading each team are engineering and manufacturing managers, as well as a plant engineer. With a worldwide reputation for state-of-the-art, automated investment casting efficiency, our Hartford plant has gotten a lot of attention.

The Milwaukee facility has quickly become the global leader in CW2M processing through the development of proprietary pouring techniques. The Milwaukee facility also specializes in soluble wax and ceramic core part production.
