The RIM process offers
excellent design flexibility and superior cosmetics on high quality, limited run custom enclosures, housings and structural components. RIM is economical for part volumes from 100 to
2,000 annually. The Design Octaves RIM material can be molded as thin as
0.125” and meet UL 94-V0 or 94-5V flammability requirements. The RIM process offers excellent design freedom, great cosmetics, and tough mechanical properties. Design Octaves provides in-house services for molding, painting, EMI/RFI shielding, assembly and tooling. Their unique composite tooling process makes molds economical and durable. Tooling is guaranteed for 10,000 cycles.
